Marie A. Taylor is a native Daytonian and seasoned educational leader with over 20 years of
experience serving students and families. She currently serves as the Assistant Principal at
Westbrooke Village in Trotwood-Madison City Schools. Creative and proactive, Marie takes
initiative to develop meaningful opportunities that inspire and support children, and she takes
great pride in having positively influenced countless young people throughout her career.
She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Antioch McGregor and a Bachelor
of Science in Secondary Education from Central State University. Marie is married and does not
have children of her own, yet remains deeply committed to mentoring and advocating for youth.
She is a member of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) and a
member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Mr. Biles brings deep educational experience, as he served as a classroom teacher for both middle and high school, transition coordinator, restorative justice coordinator, and librarian for Dayton Public Schools. Mr. Biles also brings private industry experience, having previously worked with several major corporations. Mr. Biles earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilberforce University.

Brittney Jones is a Dayton, Ohio native and the founder of Foster Hearts and Homes LLC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving underserved and underprivileged youth. The agency is committed to providing stable housing, social-emotional support, financial literacy, and post-secondary education and job readiness skills to help young people build sustainable and successful futures.
With over a decade of experience in public education, Brittney has served as an Intervention Specialist, Dean of Students, and Administrator. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with students facing academic, social, and systemic barriers, developing a deep understanding of the challenges underrepresented youth encounter.
Brittney is passionate about building and strengthening communities that uplift students who are often overlooked. Her purpose is rooted in fostering a sense of belonging, pride, and empowerment by creating opportunities made possible through individuals and organizations that believe in the inherent worth and potential of young people.
Ms. Foster-Jones earned a B.S. in Psychology and Masters in Educational Leadership from Central State University
